Campaign Period

Summary

Based on your Sponsorship Performance of new applicants during the campaign period and the Sponsorship Performance of those new applicants, points will be generated; after which the top scorer with the highest points will clinch the No. 1 Member of the World title.

Commendation

The commendation will be held at FESTA 2011,
on 1 October 2011 (Saturday), at the Yokohama Arena.

1. The members who have accumulated more than 1,000 points within the campaign period (June- August) will be invited to JAPAN FESTA 2011.

大马雇员英文能力落后菲新 记者最佳，工程师倒数第二

求职网站JobStreet.com调查证实，马来西亚雇员的英文掌握较新加坡和菲律宾来得差劲。

该网站最近选择在5个东南亚国家，即马来西亚、新加坡、菲律宾、印尼和泰国，进行职场英文能力评估（English Language Assessment）。

这项评估随机选择40项试题，作为测量英文掌握能力的标尺。

新加坡新鲜人英文能力最佳

这项评估结果显示，在所有阶层的职位，不论是非执行人员到社会新鲜人、初级执行人员、资深执行人员，经理和资深经理，大马都排在第3位，落后于新加坡和菲律宾。

此外，新鲜觅职者的英文程度平均在40个问题答对27题，而菲律宾和新加坡方面则分别是28题和30题。在资深经理阶层，菲律宾则超越新加坡夺冠，大马仍排在第3位，落后新加坡。

泰国印尼分别排第4第5位

泰国和印尼在所有阶层的评估，皆落后大马，分别排在第4和第5位。

 

这次调查证实，坊间早前指马来西亚大专毕业生英文能力不如人的说法。

英文能力列为雇主首五条件

JobStreet.com 网站经理卓玉英（Chook Yuh Yng，音译）表示，“这是一项让人担忧的趋势，因为英文掌握能力是雇主们最优先的5项聘用条件之一”。

“这表示，没有良好英文掌握能力的觅职者将会被抛在后头。”

该网站调查也显示，大马资深执行人员普遍在40试题中答对29题；而经理人员的成绩更佳，从40试题中答对31题。

新闻从业员英文能力属最佳
另一方面，不同职业的雇员在英文掌握上也有差别，其中最佳的属新闻从业员，而最差的是普通工人。

JobStreet.com 网站指出，新闻从业员（从40题答对33题）、医务人员（32题）和高阶管理人员（31题）是英文掌握能力最佳的3大顶尖行业。

工业工程师竟排在倒数第二

而英文能力最差的3个行业是普通工人（24题）、工业工程师（25题）和书籍/行政支援人员（26题）。

英文能力评估从2009年11月开始，至今已有来自大马、新加坡、菲律宾、泰国和印尼的150万名觅职者通过这项考试来评估他们的英文能力。

大马经济的现状及未来 - 當今大馬

纳吉政府如果有一天倒台，很可能不是政治被打垮，而是经济上的崩溃！无能救经济而导致民生深受影响，不再是一种担忧，而是一项活生生的例子！

大马有党国不分，政治商业有千丝万缕的关系，政治牵制经济的发展，特权经营如执照分发，部分民生设施只有巫裔能参与，公开招标只注重程序，而没有效率公平机制，往往导致朋党得利等问题。

国内政治因素

308政治海啸之后，这问题应当有所改变，然而事实上却没有！大马的国情分析显示，政府的保护主义色彩过于浓烈，导致往外发展的大企业，只是在这几年才开始，但比起其他东盟国家，咱们何止输了个马鼻？外来的资金，也会受到国内经济保护主义的影响，而远走他国。

内需市场不足

大马国内消费不足以支撑整体经济，这就是马哈迪在位时，所喊的7千万人口目标，才能足以发展全面的经济，大马人口 2千8百万，这小市场不能玩闭门政策，也就是说，咱们需要外来的资金发展，及将国内的企业，发展到国外去。简单的说，咱们比泰国（6千6百万），越南（9千万）及印尼（2亿4千多万）[1]更需要外资及国外市场。内需虽然是政府控制得了，但却不能长期依赖来发展经济。

开销不符合国情

大马还有一个大问题，过去2003 到2010 年首季[2]，大马中央政府的发展开销，只是行政开销的一半！大马归类为发展中国家，这种开销，是否能支撑对外贸易或改善基本设施? 还是制造庞大的行政团队？而行政开销有逐步增加的趋势（由2003年第一季的大约160亿，增加2008年第一季的大约300亿，增幅为87.5%），反而发展开销则停留在每年不超过200马币！

攀高的通膨

近来大家关系的通货膨胀问题，也会直接影响大马经济。然而在多种津贴的情况下，估计大马的实际通货膨胀率，远比政府公布的数字高出许多，以下图标[3]，是国民生产总数，扣除通货膨胀后的数字，平均来说，实际的GDP成长率大约在1.8 - 2%左右（每一季）。

按照东盟秘书处的图标显示，大马过去的通货膨胀率，都不严重，只是在2008年时期，由于基金会的炒作燃油期货市场[4]，导致全球无价高涨，然而由2010年第二季开始，大马通货膨胀率开始提升！津贴虽然拉低了整体通货膨胀，但也难确保通膨不会继续攀升，按这趋势分析，国家银行会随着通货膨胀高涨的情况下，提高利息！马币的升值将会缓慢下来，会刺激出口业，但普遍人民将面对高消费的局面。

后记

综合以上的数据分析，大马经济被国内政治因素，国家高攀的通货膨胀，内需市场不足，发展经费与行政经费的对比，不符合国情，这都会直接影响经济。而国内政治因素，内需市场及经费问题，是政府操盘及可掌握的因素，政府有义务，有任务的去善用这些资源，而大马经济，可能会陷入迷茫当中，时间告诉咱们，政府如果有意愿改革可掌控的因素，何必等到现在？

中东的茉莉花革命，讲简单点，不过是经济民生没搞好，导致人民长期被压制，而这种情绪在大马不是没有，现在就看纳吉要如何面对？按照这分析，纳吉也不能久等，大选即将来临，可能在2012年预算案公布后的3个月内举行。

'68pc of Malaysians worried about retirement': "Malaysians are the most prolific financial planners but 68 per cent of them are still worried that they would not be able to cope financially in retirement, a recent HSBC survey reveals.

'This shows that Malaysians have grasped the fact that they need to start planning early while the prospect of unforeseen events remains a prime concern,' HSBC Amanah Takaful (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Zainudin Ishak told reporters after launching the survey report titled 'Future of Retirement: The Power of Planning' here today.

The survey was based on interviews with more than 17,000 people in 17 countries.

He said the report also highlighted that Malaysians were among the least dependent on state solutions to fund their retirements and younger people were the most likely to be actively planning for the future.

He said ageing, which is among the biggest challenges of the 21st century, was no longer just a phenomenon facing the developed world. By 2050, those over 65 years old in Asia would be more than triple to 900 million, he added.

The survey shows that although 69 per cent of Malaysians look forward to freedom in retirement, 24 per cent are concerned about the cost of caring for their parents in their old age. -- Bernama"
